Dr. Ratih is Director of Environment, Maritime, Natural Resources, and Nuclear Policy at Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). A Research Professor in wood science, her expertise focuses on lignocellulose anatomy and quality, forensic analysis, and non-destructive testing (NDT). She led the development of the AI-based Automatic Wood Identification Tool (AIKO), covering over 1,700 species and widely used across Indonesia.

Dr. Ratih has authored more than 130 scientific publications and holds over 20 patents and copyrights. She has received multiple national innovation awards and international recognition for her contributions to forest science and technology. She also serves as a keynote speaker and supervises students at all academic levels.
